Five minutes walk via the park’s private footpath takes you to Blakeney quay, where you can launch your sailing dinghy, have a meal or a quiet drink at the pub, just sit and watch the world go by.

The Edwardian town of Holt is ten minutes drive away and for lovers of antiques and brick-a-brack shops it is a paradise!

Close by there’s the Shrine at Walsingham visited by 100’s of pilgrims every year.

For a piece of Royal history then a visit to Blicking Estate, where Anne Boleyn once resided,  is a great day out. And of course to explore the estate our present Royal family often visits then Sandringham is a pleasant coastal journey around the North Norfolk coast.

Then there is the Victorian town of Cromer just 15 miles away with its’ award winning pier and end of pier theatre and not forgetting it is  famous for it’s crabs, and few miles before that, the busier town of Sheringham, home of the North Norfolk Railway.

Just an hours’ drive  away is the Norfolk capital city of Norwich with many historic buildings and areas including the Castle Museum, two Cathedrals and ancient market.
